University of Otago historic campus toursDate: Thursday 27 July & Friday 28 JulyTime: 10.00am, 11.00am, 2.00pm Length: approx 30 to 40 minutes Meeting place: the Clocktower steps, on the Leith River side of the Clocktower building. Join us for a general tour of the historic Otago campus, viewed as one of the world's 15 most beautiful university campuses. You will discover the impressive interior of the Clocktower building, and visit the Staff Club built in 1907 and first used as the Dental School, and one of the residential colleges. You'll be shown special places seldom, if ever, seen by students. Afterwards you can enjoy campus views while relaxing with a hot drink, and also check out the Visitors' Centre shop. Medical precinct tourDate: Thursday 27 JulyTime: 3.00pm Meeting place: The Captain Cook Hotel, Great King Street. For Conference delegates arriving in Dunedin on Thursday (27 July), why not join us for our bespoke medical precinct tour. Enjoy a walk down memory lane and find out what's new at the Dunedin medical precinct. You'll discover all sorts of fascinating facts, areas of interest and historical gems. Your tour guides will share their insights, historical knowledge and entertaining stories about the medical precinct. Meeting outside The Captain Cook Hotel at 3pm, the tour will take approximately one hour, and includes refreshments at The Cook. |
