New Zealand Rural General Practice Network - Stand 13

The New Zealand Rural General Practice Network (The Network) is a membership and support organisation for rural health professionals. As part of our business operation we are contracted by the New Zealand government to provide a rural locum support and recruitment service which we do under the 'NZLocums' brand, recruiting health professionals nationally and internationally. 

Based in Wellington, The Network's national membership and advocacy covers 185 rural practices incorporating 2500 individual members including doctors, nurses, practice managers and students. The Network has relationships with other health sector-related groups including the Royal New Zealand College of GPs, General Practice New Zealand, Medical Council of New Zealand, the New Zealand Nurses Organisation and Immigration New Zealand. 

The Network is a member of the General Practice Leaders Forum and also has strong links to New Zealand's leading medical and nursing schools.
